Werewolves have been in our literature for centuries, many being pictured as large beasts or regular wolves. Well, Lycans are not werewolves, but very similar.
Lycan Legends
Lycans are wolves born with the power to shift into a human in their first year. They are normally taken as a pup by another Lycan, wolves call him the Thief. One way to see if a wolf is a Lycan is by their pelt, size and eyes. Their pelts are normally a more popping color, nothing neutral or drab. Their eyes are the same, the color normally different from the yellow of regular wolves, they are also larger in size.
Lycans learn to stay human, shifting whenever and wherever they please. The do not shift by the light of a full moon, but can if overcome by a strong emotion. They do not go into a blacktop blur of a frenzy when shifting either, but think clearly and can control their actions.
Weaknesses
Common weaknesses is pure silver. It has to be 100% silver to hurt them and the only way to kill a Lycan with silver if stuck in the heart or brain of the Lycan.
